Image description: unidentified employees & suspicious Manhattan no trespassing sign posted in a brooking residential drug infested building. when I visited this building to become a tenant I was told by Pablo Cuevas that the building was safe and free of drugs and crime. to assure me of this Pablo Cuevas pointed at a dome camera located just above Apartment number #1b. he said that the a licensed building superintendent lives in #1B. and will contact police immediately in the even of any suspicious behavior. He knocked on the supers door but said that he must have stepped out but he does live here in apartment #1B. after I signed the lease and moved in during 2007 my hot water in which I am responsible to pay for was not working. there was no mailbox key or door chain installed on my apartment door. my apartment has been entered 3 times by people with keys claiming to be either building owners or management agents. I knocked on the supers door and found that there were never a super living in apartment #1B. months later I found that the camera was never on and is not connected with any police precinct. further more, drug addicts were continuously jamming open the self closing security door with all types of foreign objects. a female was beaten hit in the head with a glass bottle in front of the building stair case. the criminals were entering in to the building at all hours waking tenants up at night and this is what lead to the beating. when a building superintendent finally did move in to #1B he was a male immigrant speaking poor English and was not licensed nor did he ever reveal his name-identification or emergency contact number. his wife or so he says. was mediating the tenants as if 276 Throop was a public assistance/ government shelter. she assisted them with legal advice-day care-ex. when winter arrived we heard nothing from management. as we froze for an entire month. I refused to pay rent for that month. the supers alleged wife stated management has sold the building and just give me your rent money. I refused. then I was harassed by her she was trying very hard to annoy and frighten me concerning my not paying rent. I told her to fuck off. and mind her business. she demanded that I speak with some one on her cell phone I said hell no. she knocked on my door again and again 5 times. she said management wanted me to give this to you. I said I am not taking anything from you. if management needs to send me a document or requirement of information ex they have my mailing address. I told her for the last time to leave my family the hell alone. the super and his wife began stalking me watching to se when I was coming in and leaving out. finally a man claiming to be the new owner of management arrived and scalded me concerning my argument with the supers wife. I demanded to no who they were and he said I don't need to tell you anything. so I still refused to pay the months rent from when I froze. he said out loud to the supers wife. ok than I will have you start a hearing on Amira boyd to evict . I asked why are you blowing my business out like that. he said well you've better have your case worker send the rent you owe, I said don't talk to me as if I'm on any public assistance. he said well the other tenants don't mind it, as I refused to hear him he offered to send me something in righting showing both his and the identity of the building superintendent. being that he was the new mangier he said hr did not have my phone number so I gave him mine in exchange for his. when I received the letter in the mail he had the the nerve to send me a notice .stating. "have your case worker send your rent payment" never did the notice reveal to me by either phone number or name as to who the superintendent was. I still have the notice till this very day I and another tenant have been threatened by the drug addicts do to the super reveal our complaints with other tenants to whom the complaints are about. the last time I was threatened was jun 25 2008 point: my building is located on 276 Throop Brooklyn ny 11206 and the no trespassing sign is for a Manhattan resident with a Manhattan precinct emergency number to call the numbers are ripped off. complaint276throop
